One hurt in car vs water tanker truck in Franklin County | News | applevalleynewsnow.com

FRANKLIN CO., Wash. -- One person was hurt after a crash involving a semi truck and car.

The call for help came in just after 2 p.m. Friday afternoon in the area of Taylor Flats Road and Bird Road in Franklin County.

Franklin County Sheriff's Office and Franklin County Fire District 3 responded to the crash.

Officials said one person was pulled out of the car by firefighters and was transported to a hospital. Lifeflight was also on scene but was not used.

Franklin County Sheriff's Office Sergeant Joshua Dennis said the driver of the car had multiple broken bones.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
