Oregon State Police are investigating the cause of a fuel tanker trailer crash in Wilderville on Sunday.

WILDERVILLE, Ore. -- Oregon State Police are investigating the cause of a fuel tanker trailer crash in Wilderville on Sunday.

The trailer rolled over on Redwood Highway near Round Prairie Rd at around 12:21 p.m. The driver was able to get out of the vehicle uninjured.

Rural Metro Fire crews came onto the scene to find the trailer leaking diesel and gasoline. Crews from OSP, ODOT and the Josephine County Sheriff's Office helped respond, with a team from Caveman Towing finishing the heavy recovery three hours later.

All lanes on US-199 southbound at MP 10.02 are experiencing delays from 20 minutes to 2 hours. ODOT is asking drivers to slow down or move over to keep workers safe.
