State police said the theft of Lorazepam pils took place around 10 p.m. May 17.

A traffic stop led to a drunken driving arrest.

Wilbur Amaya Pineda, 32, of College Park, Md., was stopped in Kimmel Township on I-99 around 4:08 p.m. April 8, when he was allegedly determined to be driving under the influence, according to state police. Charges were filed in the case.

Two Toledo, Ohio, residents were arrested for harassment in Breezewood on May 21.

State police were dispatched to the Breezewood Road residence just after 5 p.m. May 21 for a domestic incident. Jamarr Plodzik, 22, and Alajha Simon, 20, are both cited for harassment.

A tractor trailer driver's mirror collided with a pedestrian's head in a construction zone on 1-70.

Robert Beam, 61, of Plant City, Fla., was eastbound in the left lane. Logan College, 19, of Everett, was standing near the edge of the construction zone, police said, when the truck's passenger side mirror made contact with his head. Beam pulled off the road following the 6:53 a.m. May 19 incident and was charged with failing to drive safely in a construction area.

A woman's purse was allegedly taken at a Breezewood business around 9 p.m. May 6.

The Crystal Spring woman's loss was valued at $88.

Police did not release the names of two individuals cited for a physical altercation the night of May 21.

The 46-year-old Smithsburg, Md., woman and 40-year-old Riddlesburg man were in Everett Borough at the time of the incident.

A tractor trailer driver allegedly hit a fence and bush before driving off.

According to police reports, Alioune Ndiaye, 66, of Wilmington, Del., was attempting to negotiate a right turn on Wertz Road when the trailer exited the right side of the road and damaged the property. Police said the driver then fled the scene of the 1 p.m. May 11 accident.

An accident occurred around 1:15 p.m. May 28 on Lincoln Highway about a half mile from the Everett exit.

State police said Sid Dennis Verbonitz, 56, of Duncansville, was eastbound near Mount Dallas Road, Snake Spring Township, when he struck the guardrail in his 2023 Kia Soul, crossed the westbound lane, and struck and embankment on the north side of the road. Verbonitz was cited for failing to drive on the road.

An Allegany, N.Y. woman was pinned between two vehicles at a Snake Spring convenience store just before 9 a.m. May 26.

Lauren Felix, 24, of Derry, was backing out of a parking space in a 2021 Honda Accord. State police said Crystal Wilczewski, 40, was standing beside a legally parked 2017 Toyota Sienna. While backing out, police allege Felix struck Wilczewski and pinned her between the two vehicles. She was transported to UPMC Bedford Hospital with unknown injuries. Felix was cited for limitations on backing.

A Hyndman woman reported being beaten during an altercation in the borough around 1 p.m. May 25.

The 32-year-old woman said Kyle Andrew Merkel, 32, of Buffalo Mills, struck her head and body and intentionally broke the cellphone, valued at $135, belonging to a 59-year-old Hyndman man. Merkel was charged with harassment and criminal mischief.

An Altoona man was arrested for drug possession following a traffic stop on May 26.

State police conducted a stop on Dakar Tisinger, 23, at 11:45 a.m. in Bedford Township.

A Six Mile Run woman was arrested for drug possession May 16.

Brittanie Neville, 38, was found in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia during the 7 p.m. encounter with police, according to reports.
