A Texas man died after a crash involving a motorcycle Thursday evening on the Indian Nation Turnpike in McIntosh County.

An Oklahoma Highway Patrol collision report states that around 8:50 p.m., a motorcyclist on a 2020 Harley-Davidson was traveling at a high rate of speed when he failed to negotiate a curve, and the motorcycle struck a concrete divider wall. The motorcycle continued to skid on its side down the barrier before hitting the back safety bar of a semitrailer.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol identified the victim as Oscar Harviley, 65, of Converse, Texas.
No other injuries were reported.
